ABOUT ME
My name is Sophia-Bella Carrasquillo (It's a long one, I know). I am a Puerto Rican-Italian actress & Florida native, now living in Hamilton Heights. Growing up in Orlando, I was surrounded by the arts & I had many opportunities to hone my craft.
My journey since then has been what some might call unconventional. I began my serious pursuit of this career in a BFA program, but during my time there, I realized that wasn't the right path for me. In a rather spontaneous manner, I left the program & moved to the city in 2024, to then spend an incredible year training at The Institute for American Musical Theater.
Since, I have performed both regionally and nationally. Last fall, I hit the road with The National Tour of The Addams Family as an Ancestor & U/S Wednesday. Some of my other favorite credits include Elizabeth Benning in Young Frankenstein & Ethel Toffelmier in The Music Man (Bigfork Summer Playhouse); Ensemble/U/S Sherrie in Rock of Ages (Theater West End); Alyssa Greene in The Prom & Marilyn Wald in Beautiful: The Carole King Musical (The Forestburgh Playhouse).
Nowadays, I most often find myself playing bold, sometimes comic, oftentimes sexy, and always loud ladies. When I'm not too busy performing, I can be found rewatching the same three TV shows on repeat and enjoying sushi.
